It’s hard not to fall back on this color this month. March 26 is Purple Day: Epilepsy Awareness Day! It’s a day meant to educate people about this neurological disorder and support those who live with it everyday. Purple is a beautiful color. It falls between red and blue on a color spectrum. It’s rightContinue reading “Searching for Shades of Purple”
As I attempt to digitize things I’ve written over the past years, I came across this entry I wrote a year ago. This is a flashback within a flashback. It’s a little piece of a great friendship that only happens once in a blue moon.
I can’t remember much of the last couple of weeks. My mind flows with thoughts about my trip to South by South West (SXSW) this past weekend. For those of you who don’t know, SXSW is a film, interactive, and music festival in Austin, Texas.
I haven’t felt like myself for the longest time, but now that’s over with. Today I feel normal and it feels good!
I wasn’t looking forward to my MRI today. I’ve never liked being in enclosed spaces, especially one that makes annoying and loud noises. Well, it was different this time. For the past week, there is one thing that won’t get out of my head! “Maybe, I should take a selfie.” I have to blame my brother for this! It all starts with a broken phone. I knew it was bound to happen. I just didn’t know how soon or later that was going to be. Like most, my phone is my baby. I’m completely lost without it and freak out when its been abandoned at home. I should have been a good motherContinue reading “The Bright Side of a Broken Phone”
Last week was a rough one – an old age rough one! I’m 26 and I’m old. I know a lot of people will disagree and roll their eyes at me. Well, get ready to hold onto those eyes. They might just roll right off by the time this post is finished. My mother says,Continue reading “Monday Reflections – The Rough, Old Week”
This whole blog thing is new to me so I’m not sure if there is such a thing as right or wrong. I’ve been thinking of what I should do with it. This is my attempt to start writing a small segment I would like to call “Monday Reflections”. It will be a small entry, 500Continue reading “Monday Reflections”
