About me? I’m never good at these things, but here are the basics. My name is Veronica, and I’m from Texas. I’m a journalism and film graduate from the University of Texas at Austin. (It doesn’t get more Texan than that!)
I’m a nerd who loves everything Disney, Marvel and Star Wars. My collection of Funko Pops! is nothing short of amazing, and I’m determined to fill every inch of wall space with them.
I enjoy escaping into works of fiction. I’d never hesitate to jump at the chance to learn what it’s like being a hobbit or wizard for just one day.
I LOVE to bake! I like to challenge myself to learn new decorating and baking techniques. And although I’d love to say I’ve mastered everything and have never burnt a dessert, it simply isn’t true.
Writing is something I’ve always been passionate about, and this is my third attempt at getting myself to start a blog. What can I say? I’m old-fashioned and prefer black ink on white paper. There probably isn’t a piece of napkin, junk mail or notebook that I haven’t scribbled on.
But, I realize we’re in the 21st century so it’s time to put those ancient instruments away. My penmanship wasn’t any good to begin with. I’m pretty sure I’m the only person who could decipher my chicken scratch. And, frankly, paper cuts and ink stains are a nuisance.
Anyways, dear reader, I promise this blog will be about everything and nothing all at the same time. It will be filled with my random thoughts and shenanigans. Most importantly, it will be about my journey with epilepsy, and my way of sharing all the valuable information I’ve learned along the way.
