To be yummy or not to be, that is the question.
Medicines don’t necessarily taste well. I’m not sure they are meant to, but I wish they were. Since surgery, there isn’t a person who doesn’t ask me whether any of my dosages have been reduced or a medication removed. Neither have been the case. In the meantime, I’ll continue to endure the taste of awful medications.
I put my medications in three categories. There are the liquid meds that taste much like cough syrup. Personally, they are the worst. There are the powdery meds, which leave a terrible bitter after-taste. Finally, there are the neutral-tasting gelatin capsules, which don’t leave much of a taste at all. Luckily for me, I’ve had all with the exception of the gelatin ones. Yeah, I’m so, so lucky!
I know I can’t complain. I could definitely have it worse, but it’s a Monday. It just feels like one of those days where it would be nice to stay inside and cover yourself in blankets. Instead, I’m at work pretending to be an adult. Enough of a tantrum though. I should be happy! Hoping for any of my anti-epileptic drugs to taste well is useless, but there is still hope for vitamins. I came across this just the other day at my pharmacy.
The Chocolate Vitamin!
I love chocolate! None of my other medications could live up to this Calcium + D supplement. I have something to look forward to everyday at noon. Who could ask for more?
Happy Monday to everyone! May it be one filled with chocolate. After all, everything’s better with chocolate.
I forgot to ask you how it tasted! I’m guessing it was good?

I’ll admit it wasn’t Hershey’s milk chocolate, but it was close enough. 🙂
